Nitesh, 14 years from Haryana, has been diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), a heart defect and has caused multiple holes in the upper chamber of his heart. The only treatment for this is surgery and closing the multiple holes with the insertion of a device. This procedure will take place at Max Hospital and the costs are too high for his father Siyaram to bear as he earns Rs 4000 per month as a labourer. On this salary the family has to meet their daily needs – this happens with great difficulty as it is as they are a big family – four children and Kavita and Siyaram. Nitesh is in class 9 in a government school and loves to paint. The family want their son to resume school and his activities, healthy and happy.
Pintu, 10 years old from Kanpur was suffering from a cardiac disorder called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) where a hole in the lower chamber of the heart was detected which also lead to narrowing of the pulmonary valve. Its heart breaking as unfortunately he did not survive through the surgery at Max Hospital in Delhi. We at GF were supporting his case and it has saddened his family and us deeply as despite any efforts we were unable to save his life.
Prateek, 1 year old from Uttar Pradesh has been suffering from a congenital disorder called VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) where he has a hole in the lower chamber of the heart that needs to urgently be closed surgically. This procedure is due to take place at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. His father Komal Singh and mother AshaDevi, have two children – their elder son is six years old. Komal is a farmer and earns Rs 3000 per month, on this humble amount it is impossible for him to bear the costs of surgery to save his youngest son’s life.
Robi Pitar, 4 years from Chattisgarh, is suffering from cardiac disorder and requires a fontan operation – where a conduit is placed between the IVC and pulmonary artery. The impure blood from the lower part of the body enters the lungs directly, bypassing the heart. This procedure is due to take place at Max Hospital, Delhi. His father Rajesh is an electrician and brings home Rs 5000. He is unable to pay for his son’s surgery and had reached out to us for financial support.
Radhika, 3 years from Maharashtra, has been diagnosed with ventricular septal defect, a heart defect in which there is an opening in the heart between the lower chambers and needs a VSD device closure. The procedure due to take place at Jupiter Hospital, in Mumbai can only take place if the family is granted financial support as Radhika’s father Hisna earns only Rs 3000 monthly as a labourer. They naturally want to see their daughter happy and healthy, we are committed in helping make this dream come true.
Riddhi Kutti, 10 months from Solapur, is suffering from a heart defect known as ventricular septal defect (VSD), which has resulted to a hole in the lower chamber of the heart. The only thing that will save her life is surgery, which has been scheduled at Reliance H N Hospital in Mumbai and her father Sachin who works in a private job and earns a monthly income of Rs 7000 is unable to bring together the funds required for it.
Ruhi Kharat, 5 months old from Maharashtra, is suffering from a congenital heart disorder and requires PDA device closure, which has been scheduled at Reliance H N Hospital, Mumbai. Her father is a farmer and earns a humble Rs 3000 per month; with which it is impossible to pay for the treatment required to save their little girl.
Shaheen Ali, 9 years from Thane, suffering from a cardiac disorder requires ballooning of the aortic valve at Jupiter Hospital, Mumbai. His father Anwar Ali is a driver and brings home Rs 5000 per month with which he has to support his six children and wife. It is impossible for him to bring funds together to get the necessary treatment done for his son. He requires support from us and we are committed to doing so.
Shivam, 4 years from Bihar, has a cardiac disorder and has been prescribed for aortic ballooning where there is narrowing of the aortic valve and it needs opening with the ballooning procedure at Apollo Hospital, in Delhi. Shivam’s father Suresh is a laborer and earns a monthly income of Rs 6000 with which he supports his four children and wife. They have two sons and two daughters – it’s almost impossible for Suresh to bring together the funds required for the surgery.
Sonakshi Kumari, 2 years old from Bihar has been suffering at such a young age with a cardiac disorder – PDA, which is a hole between ascending Aorta and Pulmonary artery and can only be closed by a device. This surgery has been scheduled at Max Hospital, Delhi. Sonakshi’s father Sudhir, works in a shoe factory and earns Rs 7500 per month and cannot afford the surgery to save his daughter’s life.
