A new book by Ratna Vira and her daughter Suhasini Vira explores these questions that are so relevant to our times, when the world seems to be spiralling out of control and empathy is at an all-time low.
Through stories drawn from real life, this book will change how one looks at the act of giving. It shows that each one of us can bring about a change, if only we have the will.
Inspired by Founder Trustees of Genesis Foundation – Prema & Jyoti Sagar. It includes real-life incidents from their lives – their journey from losing their child to channelling their pain into succour for others.
A collaboration between a seasoned writer and a bright millennial, you don’t want to miss out on this one as a hearty summer read!
“It has taken almost three years to research and write this book. I have taken courses on positive psychology to understand the nuances of why people give. The process of writing the book, collaborating with a young daughter and seeing life through her lens, has changed my world view. Today, I am more aware to need of giving back to the society and I hope this book help us create that much needed change in everyone who reads this.”
