We hope for the event to be a success and to raise enough funds to treat the critically ill children whose parents have reached out to us for support.”
Over the years, ‘CEOs Sing for GF Kids’ has progressively become an institution in fund-raising initiatives to Give Life a Chance. In keeping with the Foundation’s core philosophy of building a participatory culture of giving, rather than chequebook philanthropy, musically-inclined CEOs give their time to the cause even as they find an outlet for their talent and their passion.
A Genesis Foundation supporter, Sanjay Modi, Managing Director, APAC & Middle East, said, “I am looking forward to this delightful evening. Delightful because it is not just about having a good time, but really collaborating to help save lives of children. Affordable quality healthcare I feel is the basic right for every child in this country. I do hope that initiatives like these create an ecosystem of more likeminded people to come together and do their bit to ‘give life a chance.”
And, this is what the performing CEOs have to say:
Krishnan Chatterjee, Senior VP & Head of Strategic Marketing, HCL Technologies
“I feel like I am part of generation g. G for generosity. G for gratitude. G for Genesis Foundation.”
Siraj Chaudhary, Chairman, Cargill India
“GF is doing a wonderful job by first unearthing musical talents and passions of leaders in various fields which otherwise could have been lost in pursuit of career success and then leveraging this talent to generate support for the cause of children in need.”
Dr. Harsh Mahajan, Founder & Chief Radiologist, Mahajan Imaging
“I am beholden to the Genesis Foundation for being part of this unique event. It’s a happy event showcasing the singing talent of the corporate and medical world with the objective of raising money to treat children suffering with cancer.
