Most tourists who visit Kasauli don’t miss out on the upper and lower Mall Road, the two main roads of Kasauli. The area is covered with quaint shops, local eateries and historical buildings that are truly worth visiting! A shopping experience amidst pine trees and nature, tourists are spoilt for choice at the local Tibetan shops, famous for handicraft items and other beautiful products.
03 Narinder Sweet House
Situated in the Lower Mall Road itself, when you get a little peckish you can park yourself in one corner and enjoy a nice hot cup of chai with world-famous gulab jamuns from Narinder Sweet House. Don’t forget to try out their bun samosa, if you want to really awaken 'em taste buds!
04 Manki Point
Leave your phone behind and don’t forget to carry your ID as it’s an army-controlled area. You don’t have to be religious to visit the Hunuman mandir at the top of the hill. A steep but worthwhile climb to this peaceful location for a moment of prayer and gratitude!
05 Christ’s Church
Previously an Anglican church and inaugurated on 24th July 1853, in Kasauli stands the oldest church in all of Himachal Pradesh. A historical site which you can take your kids too or even visit on your own before you start strolling down the Mall Road. Since 1970, the church has been regulated by the Church of North India (CNI). The lawns outside have perfectly manicured flowers and as you enter the church, the intricate stained glass has streams of light flowing in. These beautiful windows depict Christ, Mary, Saint Barnabas and Saint Francis.
