Gagan’s father, a labourer, earned only Rs.3, 000 per month and could not have solely supported the surgery. Presently, Gagan was doing fine. Prince

11 years from Delhi, suffered from a cardiac disorder – TOF and required a VSD closure scheduled at AIIMS, Delhi. His father, a labourer, earned Rs.5, 000 per month and was the sole bread earner of his family of 8, including his wife and 6 children. Naturally, his father required financial support for his son’s surgery which was heard and accepted by the Genesis Foundation.

Navita

4 years from Rohtak district in Haryana, suffered from a congenital heart disease and underwent a PDA device closure at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. The total cost of the surgery beyond the capacity of his family income. Her father, the sole earning member in the family, earned only Rs.3000 per month working as a farm labourer. It was extremely difficult for him to provide for the surgery. Presently, Navita had regained her health and was good. His father was thankful to Genesis Foundation for the financial assistance throughout.

2 years from Haryana, was diagnosed with a hole between the aorta and pulmonary artery along with narrowing of the aorta. She had undergone a PDA device closure with coarctation correction at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. It was impossible for her father, who worked as a vegetable vendor and earned only Rs.4, 000 monthly, to support the surgery . Presently, with Gneiss foundation support and assistance, Gunjan was doing well..

Ayush

4 years old from Uttar Pradesh, suffered from Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) and required corrective surgery. His father, a small farm labourer earned only Rs 2,000 per month and could not afford his son’s treatment. The surgery was scheduled at AIIMS, New Delhi. Genesis Foundation rendered financial assistance to the cause.

Akshita

7 months old from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, was diagnosed with a hole between the two main arteries of the heart and had to go through a PDA device closure at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. Her father worked as a supervisor with a building contractor and brought home a monthly income of Rs.8, 000. Naturally, he had to seek financial assistance to save his only child’s life. Post- surgery, Akshita had recovered well. Today, he was thankful to Genesis Foundation for the emergent help.

Hemant (Heman Jaglan)

3 years from Intal Kalan village in Haryana, was suffering from a congenital heart disease and was operated for a PDA device closure with balloon pulmonary valvatomy at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. His father was employed as a security guard on a contractual basis and earned approximately Rs.6, 000 per month. Naturally, he was in need of financial help for supporting his son’s surgery. Hemant had pulled through the surgery well.

Jai (Jai Mane)

1 year old from Maharashtra, upon evaluation at Jupiter Hospital, Mumbai, was found to have a hole in the upper chamber of the heart along with narrowing of the pulmonary valve.
