GANESH

Ganesh, fourteen years old lives in Pune with his mother Indu and father Anna Tambe. He has been diagnosed with a cardiac disorder and requires a VSD closure with an Aortic Valve Repair at SRCC NH Hospital in Mumbai. Anna earns Rs 4000 as a farmer and is struggling to put together the funds required for the surgery. They have reached out to us for support, and we are happy to financially support this case and help Ganesh onto a road of recovery.

PAYAL

Payal, nine years old from Maharashtra is suffering from a heart disorder and has been prescribed a Permanent Pacemaker Implantation at Jupiter Hospital in Mumbai. Her mother Gulab stays home and looks after both the children while father Pitar works as a labourer and earns Rs 3000 per month. Day-to-day living is not easy for this family – bringing together funds for an expensive surgery is completely impossible. They have sought help and we are committed in providing this to ensure she gets the medical treatment required, to live.

RUTIK SUDHIR BARAF

Rutik Sudhir Baraf, six years old from Palghar, Maharashtra has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart disorder and requires surgery at Jupiter Hospital, in Mumbai. His mother Devki is a housewife, and looks after her three children. Sudhir, her husband is a laborer and earns Rs 3000 per month, so affording high costs of surgery is impossible for the family. They have reached out to us for financial help and we are committed in providing this, every step of the way ensuring Rutik gets the treatment he requires without any compromise.

SUNIL

Sunil, seven months old is the second child to Sonu Chaudhary and Kavita. The family resides in Noida, and they have been dealing with hardship since their son was diagnosed with a heart problem since birth. He was blue, as there was less blood flowing to the lungs, due to narrowing of the pulmonary valve. Sunil had frequent bouts of pneumonia, which is when a local doctor referred the family to Apollo Hospital. An echo was conducted and exact nature of the disease was confirmed. The pulmonary valve was opened with a ballooning procedure, and the little baby was discharged in stable condition. Sonu, works hard as a labourer and brings home Rs 5000 per month. He was hit hard with the financial burden of trying to figure out how to pay for his son’s surgery and survival. However, he was referred to us and we were lucky enough to lend a helping hand to a family needing financial support for their son’s surgery

MD. TAQUI

Md. Taqui, two years old, was born as a blue baby in Lucknow. He was diagnosed with a heart disorder called Tetralogy of Fallot and had a low saturation of 60%. He had frequent bouts of pneumonia, so the family were in and out of the local pediatricians clinic often where medicines were always prescribed. In March 2017, his father Sultan Ahmed and mother Rukkaya were alarmed when their son got extremely sick, he was admitted and stablished at Aligarh Muslim University Hospital. Sultan Ahmed, was a clerk at a private school and earned Rs 6000 a month. Every month was difficult, now life had taken a turn for even more stresses as they were unable to bear the medical costs and surgery was the only life-saving measure. They reached out to us, and we were committed to financially support this case. Md. Taqui was taken to Jaypee Hospital for surgery. This little boy’s case was slightly rare as usually the two pulmonary arteries are of the same length, but in his case the left artery was larger than the right which caused complications post-surgery. We were extremely relieved and naturally so were the parents as he recovered and now has been discharged in better health.

IQBAL ANSARI

Iqbal Ansari, four years old from Mumbai, is suffering from a cardiac disorder and requires ballooning of Pulmonary Valve (BPV) at Jupiter Hospital. His mother Yasmin is a housewife, who looks after their three children while father Nabi Rasul Ansari works as a labourer and brings home Rs 5000. It is a herculean task to manage such a big family on a tight income, so incurring high medical costs was just not possible for them. We will be financially supporting the case, taking the stress off his parents and giving him the chance to live, healthy and joyously.

GOLU

Golu, four years from Mathura, is suffering from a heart disorder called Patent Ductus Arteriosus, which has resulted to a hole in between the descending Aorta and Pulmonary Artery. It can only be closed with a device in a Cath Lab, in this case at Apollo Hospital, Delhi. His mother Machhala Devi, is a labourer and earns Rs 3000 per month with which she has to support four children and her husband who is physically challenged and cannot work. It is a struggle for the family, every single day. Taking on the financial burden of a surgery has weighed down Machhala Devi who is now so grateful that we at Genesis Foundation are able to take this financial strain of her and support Golu’s surgery.

Fahad Chaudhary

Fahad Chaudhary, three years old from Thane, diagnosed with tetralogy of fallot, a cardiac disorder was prescribed a BT shunt surgery at Jupiter Hospital, in Mumbai. Fahad’s father Zahagir works hard as a labourer and earns Rs 4000 per month. The cost of surgery was much too high for the family, so we at GF stepped in to take away this financial burden and get their son the treatment he needed to live.

SAHAJ YADAV

Sahaj Yadav, nine months old from Uttar Pradesh diagnosed with a heart disorder has been prescribed a Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) device closure at Jupiter Hospital in Mumbai. Her mother Nila and father Abhay have been extremely distressed as they could not put together the funds required for Sahaj’s surgery. Abhay is an office peon and earns Rs 5000 per month, naturally the cost of surgery was too high and they sought help from us at Genesis Foundation to give their little girl a chance to live.

SHEETAL MORE

Sheetal More, ten months old from Maharashtra is suffering from a congenital heart disorder called Tetralogy of Fallot and requires corrective surgery scheduled at SRCC NH Hospital, in Mumbai. Her mother Pooja is a housewife and father Vittal is a vegetable vendor who earns Rs 3500 per month. It is impossible for him to put together the funds required for his daughter’s surgery and requires support, so they have reached out to us at Genesis Foundation.
